As part of his exhibition down at 26 Studio's Mark Rennie show a film which he finds inspiring. Said film was Zoetrope by Charlie Deaux. There's a pretty amazing Craft Council exhibition on right now at Aberdeen Art Gallery called Breath Taking! The show looks at contemporary British glass blowing through the work of 22 artists all working in the field. Fun In The Sun is the latest exhibition by Ilona Niemi at the Foyer restaurant. I recently paid another visit to Red Hot & Blue tattoo in Edinburgh. And got another tattoo. So one has led to 2 which is going to lead to 3 which is going to lead to a lot of hours under the needle but I'm so happy with what Paul's done so far. I've set up a tumblr page purely for showcasing new ideas and art work. Getting into doing these space animal pics, hoping to do a few digital prints for friends and use them for proper paintings once I have paints & canvases. Project Slogan is a small independant Art Gallery which has recently had its funding cut due to the arts no longer being seen as something worth spending money on when there's plans to be made for building over city centre green spaces. A few weeks ago we went on the hunt for a bike for Stu and ended up at Becycle in Old Aberdeen. Be Cycle is a hardy band of good peeps who help fix up old bikes which you can rent out for an indeterminate length of time.
