'They Both Explode' for In Motion Animation Festival!

Last year Peacock Visual Arts hosted the first In Motion Animation Festival which featured a host of short animated films, workshops and an exhibition of work by Thomas Hicks. The whole event was excellent and the works were of the highest standard. As part of the festival PVA held a competition to find a new animation and 'They Both Explode' was chosen. The short description says it all "They Both Explode is a short hallucinatory tale of consumption, sorrow, redemption and vomit. A peckish heron meets a frog with inviting eyes. They both explode." I really enjoyed it so give it a play and I hope the festival runs again this year.

Graffiti & Street Art - The Art of Sharing!

In an age of mass image production I try to keep my output to a reasonable amount and try to pick quality over quantity. But after my recent trip South I've found myself with an abundance of images, mostly graffiti and street art and it seems a shame not to share them. With so much great work plastered everywhere down there and a lack of great work plastered up here maybe this will give a little inspiration to anyone thinking about trying to brighten up the streets. The only thing I would say is quality is key! Enjoy.
