Bake Haus 'Offshore Tribute' Night!

Jamie Ferguson recently started his own club night to celebrate local producers and music makers, giving them a fresh platform to play their tunes and get together away from the pressure of the big clubs. The night takes it name from the mini album 'Bake Haus' by the late Offshore aka Ewan Robertson.

Ewan was passionate about music and Aberdeen, he still kept close ties with the city returning to play at various club nights in Snafu & Origin and was always supporting the scene and its emerging artists. I can't think of anyone who wasn't effected by the sad news of his passing and his last release has become even more poignant, a piece of his lasting legacy which will forever inspire.

In the spirit and name of Ewan this night has been organised to help celebrate the wonderful legacy and talent of Offshore with a selection of friends doing what they do best, playing out and doing something that I'm sure Ewan would be proud of. The night kicks off at 10pm this Saturday downstairs in Drummonds wee cubby bar with music from Zubuntu ¥oin back to back followed by OTOH, Lockah & Grill Cosby. Its free to get in, all you gotta do is show some love for the man with the big shoes. x
