Donald Watson @ Stray Dog Arts Project Room!

Donald Watson is a fresh graduate from Grays School of Art having gained his degree in 2010, he doesn't seem to be letting full time work get in the way of his art making, which is good! Donald took over a room in the studio while Kieran was away to Berlin for a month and spent his time experimenting with air flow and green garden tape.

The end result was a floor to ceiling installation which created a rather interesting effect. Fans were used to vibrate the tape which in turn created a sound which everyone heard differently, some heard tv static, some heard water flowing and others heard flames burning! Small LED lights were placed behind the tape shining out which also created the effect of tv static on the adjacent wall. Hopefully there will be a lot more interesting things happening with Stray Dog over the coming months!
