Lost & Found Present Mark McCabe, P.J. Bond & Sarah J Stanley @ Cellar 35!

Amanda is one of those people who believes in what she does and this is quite nice. She organises poetry nights and gigs under the Lost & Found name and has become firmly established as a doer and a good egg with in the local music scene. However, due to conflicting dates, apathy, lazyness and skintness I more often then not miss her nights.

But luckily her last event featuring Mark McCabe & PJ Bond was do able, and I did! The night kicked off with some of Amanda's own poems, all animatedly told to the small intimate audience. Next up was an acoustic set from New Jerseys PJ Bond, bringing some lo fi country vibes to the night. His storytelling was funny and sweet and was definately a highlight of the night. Next up Sarah J took the stage, her poems forming a brief bridge into her minds inner workings, a wonderful if not sometimes scary place. Her Rhianna audience interactive piece went down a treat and she may have to reconsider her career choice. The night was rounded off by local lad Mark McCabe who played a selection of songs which could only be written by a Scotsman. The perfect end to the perfect weekend!
