A Christmas Peacock this Friday!
Opening night Friday 4 December, 6 – 8pm
Exhibition runs 5 - 24 December
"Instead of hosting our annual open Christmas show we are using our main gallery to showcase the work that we’ve been doing with local young people as part of the Creative Identies project, in the exhibition OMG!
Meanwhile…for those of you who were looking forward to our annual Christmas show, please join us in our reception space on Friday 4 December when we will be hosting a festive celebration with mulled wine, mince pies and the chance to snap up some beautiful art works at special seasonal prices.
Work on sale will include pieces by Joyce Cairns, Jack Knox, Harvey Daniels, James Furneaux and Paul Furneaux, all of whom have kindly donated their work for this occasion.
So don’t miss the a chance to pick up work by some of Scotland’s finest artists and to help support Peacock.
It’s been a challenging year for us and we’ve been extremely grateful for your support and kind words throughout the year.
We hope you will come along on the 4th to share some festive cheer and look forward to 2010!"
Theyre a good bunch really so pop on down and say AYE tae a pie and share in some festive cheer, you never know, you might meet a stranger under the misletoe and if I make a wish it will be for common sense to prevail and any plans involving Union Terrace Gardens and concrete to be completely binned and forgotten about until some one finds them in the future and puts them into a musuem of the most stupid ideas ever!
